Puerto Escondido
Puerto Escondido has long been a legend among surfers from all over the world who come here to the “Mexican Pipeline”, the famous wave in front of Playa Zicatela. Every year in November surf championships take place here.
Although Puerto Escondido is no longer the sleepy place it was a few years ago, there are accommodations in all comfort categories and price ranges, but the development into a package tour destination has not (yet) taken place.
