At a Glance
The itinerary Southern Chile – Trekking in Patagonia and Hiking in Araucania is designed for nature lovers and hikers. If you like to spend a lot of time outdoors and have a certain level of fitness, you won’t forget this trip so quickly, as it offers unique activities in wild nature.
The (strenuous) highlight of the trip is the so-called W-Trek in the Torres del Paine National Park, where you will stay in so-called refugios. The W-Trek consists of three daily stages through a unique landscape with spectacular views of glaciers, lakes and the famous “Cuernos”. Afterwards you will make a side trip to El Calafate in Argentina where you will visit the world famous Perito Moreno Glacier and hike on the glacier ice as part of a guided tour.
In Araucania you can expect a somewhat milder climate and volcanoes (also active ones, some you can climb), national parks, crystal clear mountain lakes and hot springs as well as almost endless hiking trails.
Of course you can also experience Torres del Paine National Park without a trekking tour, we will be happy to make you an offer without W-Trek.
