The island where Yandup Lodge is located is a short boat ride away from Playón Chico (where you land on a propeller plane from Panama City). 10 spacious cabañas with thatched roofs are spread out on the small island (some are built on stilts above the water). All cabañas have private bathrooms (no hot water), single and double beds with orthopaedic mattresses, fans, mosquito nets, hammocks and a balcony. 24 hours electricity is generated by solar panels. In the restaurant all meals are served (mainly fish, seafood, vegetables and fruit). Typical tours (which are included in the accommodation package) include trips to an (uninhabited) bathing island, visit to the community and cemetery, tour to the mangroves, walk in the rainforest on the mainland.
