As of the 2022/2023 season, it will be possible to tackle the legendary W trek in Torres del Paine National Park without your own camping equipment. Permanently installed 2-person tents, which are built on wooden platforms in an environmentally friendly way, can be booked in advance. These are equipped with thick mattresses and sleeping bags, so hikers won’t freeze even in bad weather.

In addition, a meal package can also be booked, which is offered as either half or full board.

Somewhat less “luxurious”, but still comfortable, is the option of pre-booking a pre-installed tent equipped with sleeping bags and sleeping mats.

Both options may also be booked as single occupancy, and the associated additional costs can only be described as fair for the local price level.

The fact that it is necessary to make reservations as early as possible in order to enjoy these amenities is not surprising given the still growing popularity of the destination.
