Within the Torres del Paine National Park there are other hotels of varying quality and facilities. What they have in common is that they are mainly suitable for sightseeing, rather than as a starting point for larger hikes. If you have not booked an all-inclusive package, it is recommended to have your own vehicle, otherwise the mobility within the large park is quite limited.

The only accommodation outside the national park that we recommend is Konkashken Lodge in the south of Torres del Paine National Park, as it is only 3.5 km from the park entrance and still offers affordable rates. Consisting of a central cabaña and several mobile wooden caravans, the lodge has shared rooms and bungalows with private bathrooms and mini kitchens, as well as two double rooms each with private bathrooms. The hotel offers breakfast, parking and wi-fi. The location on the Rio Serrano, the southern border of the park, opens wide views of the Torres del Paine massif.

Hotels within the National Park include (from “budget” to luxury):

Hostería Pehoé
The biggest plus of this hotel is its fantastic location in Lago Pehoé with a view over the lake to the Cuernos. The rooms in two categories (standard and superior) are rather plain, but have bathroom and heating. There is also a spacious lounge, a restaurant and a bar.

Hotel Las Torres
This spacious hotel is the closest to the “towers” of the Paine Massif. Even those who do not want to hike the entire W trek can, for example, take the day hike directly from the hotel to the foot of the so-called Cuernos. The rooms have modern bathrooms (suites also have bar and Jacuzzi) and heating. The hotel has a restaurant, organic vegetable garden, horse stables, SPA, lounges and conference rooms. The hotels offer “all-inclusive programs” for 3,4, or 7 nights that include transfers, agrotourism, excursions, all meals, open bar and discounts at the spa.
In addition, the hotel also includes eight cabañas near the end point of the day hike to the “Torres”. These are designed for 2-3 people, have shared bathrooms and can be booked with full board.

Hotel Lago Grey
Located on the shores of Lago Grey, the hotel offers standard, superior or suite rooms, all with bathroom, central heating, buffet breakfast, telephone and laundry service.
The hotel includes a restaurant, bar-lounge, and a boat dock from where the hotel’s catamarans depart for the Grey Glacier.
All-inclusive programs are offered, including various excursions.

Explora
Like a stranded (space) ship, the Explora sits above the southeastern shore of Lago Pehoé. The exclusive hotel offers exclusively all-inclusive programs with a minimum stay of three nights. These include all meals and drinks, all excursions within the national park, as well as SPA use and airport transfers at set times.
The 49 comfortable rooms differ only in size, not amenities.
The excursions (on foot, on horseback or by van) can each be discussed/arranged with an individual guide the day before.
